Description

The Accentra 1810 Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device is designed for metal, wood, or composite paired doors where secure two-point latching is required. Suitable for doors up to 8 feet in height, this surface-mounted device provides reliable, code-compliant egress for both panic and fire-rated applications.

Built for dependable daily use, the device features a positive action linkage with a deadlocking top Pullman bolt and a direct-pull bottom deadbolt. When the device is released, both bolts remain retracted until the door is fully closed, ensuring smooth operation and consistent alignment. In addition, the unit is handed but field reversible, allowing flexible installation on wide stile and flush doors.
