Description

Accentra 2170 Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device

The Accentra 2170 Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device is designed for wide stile and flush doors where one or two-point latching is required. This exit-only device (outside trim sold separately) is perfect for paired doors up to 10′ in height, providing reliable exit control for both panic and fire-rated openings. In addition, a Less Bottom Rod (LBR) option is available for flexible installation.

Constructed with heavily electroplated high-grade steel and non-ferrous materials, the device is strong and resists corrosion. Furthermore, its interlocking top strike and latch mounting plate provide added stability, while a handed but field-reversible design allows for easy installation. Because it is suitable for wide stile doors, it works well in commercial and institutional buildings. As a result, it ensures safe and secure operation every time.
