The Pemko 4131_RL Automatic Door Bottom – Sponge Neoprene Insert helps keep rooms quiet, clean, and energy efficient. It blocks light, sound, and drafts, while also helping stop dust, smoke, and odors from entering under the door. Because it can be surface mounted or semi-mortised, it offers flexible installation for many types of projects.

When the door closes, the jamb-contacting plunger activates the internal drop-bar seal. As a result, the sponge neoprene insert lowers smoothly and presses firmly against the floor or threshold. This creates a tight seal every time the door shuts. In addition, the aluminum case protects the internal parts, which helps ensure long service life and steady performance.

The black sponge EPDM insert is slightly compressible, so it seals small gaps with ease. At the same time, it stays flexible in both hot and cold temperatures. It also resists damage from oily substances, which makes it a dependable choice for busy buildings.
