Description

Emtek Transitional Heritage Mortise Entry Set

The Emtek Transitional Heritage Mortise entry set beautifully bridges the aesthetic gap between traditional and modern styles. It achieves this with a sleek, contemporary grip style complemented by a classic beveled rosette, creating a sophisticated look ideal for both transitional and modern homes. This entry set delivers a polished appearance while simultaneously offering the robust, time-tested security of a heavy-duty mortise lock.

You can order the set as an Entry Set or a Dummy Set. Furthermore, customers can pair the Transitional Heritage Mortise with their choice of brass knob or lever for the interior trim.

Key Functions & Features
  • F13 Mortise: This serves as the standard keyed lock; the exterior key and the interior lever simultaneously retract both the latch and deadbolt.
  • F20 Mortise: Conversely, this function remains locked from the outside but includes stop and release buttons for temporary override.
  • Dummy Set: This provides decorative, non-functional trim for double or French doors.

Key specifications include:

  • Backset Options: 2-1/2″ or 2-3/4″
  • Standard Door Prep: UL Listed mortise door prep ANSI A115.1
  • UL Listed: ANSI F13 or F20 functions
  • Standard Door Thickness: 1-3/4” (Handing is required for all Entry Set orders.)
Heavy-Duty Security & Installation

Emtek’s robust mortise lock boxes ensure superior security. They include:

  • UL Listed with a 180-minute fire rating
  • Forged deadbolt with anti-saw inserts
  • Deadlocking latch bolt to prevent forced entry
  • Anti-pick security latches
  • Anti-friction triggers
  • Stop and release buttons (F20 function only)

Installation is straightforward. The set fits the ANSI A115.1 standard mortise door preparation and comes with all necessary components. Importantly, customers must specify handing for all Entry Set orders. Extended components allow the lock to be used on doors up to 2-3/4″ thick.

Ultimately, the Emtek Transitional Heritage Mortise set offers a perfect blend of style, powerful security, and durable construction for a distinguished entryway.
