Description
Emtek Monolithic with Normandy Grip Handleset
Elevate your entryway with a beautifully rugged design inspired by European architecture. The Monolithic with Normandy Grip Handleset blends rustic texture with refined craftsmanship, and it offers strength, style, and dependable function for a variety of door setups. Moreover, it is designed for standard 5-1/2″ center-to-center door prep, ensuring both timeless charm and modern reliability.
Available Functions
Single Cylinder Keyed: This setup uses a key way on the exterior and a thumbturn inside, and it works well for standard tubular doors. Additionally, it pairs perfectly with a dummy set on double entry installations.
Double Cylinder Keyed: A key way is used on both the exterior and interior sides of the deadbolt, eliminating the interior thumbturn. As a result, you’ll need a key from either side, which makes it a strong option for glass insert doors.
Dummy: This function has no latch but requires a borehole. It surface-mounts to the door and works with a functional set on double or French doors, acting as a strike point for the active door. Furthermore, handing is required when a lever is used or when an interconnect device is specified.

Design Inspiration
The Normandy Influence
Inspired by Tudor-style and French farmhouse architecture—known for stone, stucco, and turreted roofs—the Normandy Grip highlights wrought steel with a rustic yet modern personality. Consequently, it brings a handcrafted charm to any entryway.
European Traditions
The available Tuscany Bronze finish follows ancient Lost Wax casting techniques, creating an artisan feel rooted in Old World craftsmanship. Therefore, it delivers a distinctive, sculptural quality that enhances the overall design.
