The Emtek Hamden Handleset blends timeless sophistication with durable craftsmanship to elevate your entryway. With its framed, stepped backplates and classic architectural detailing, it perfectly complements both traditional and transitional homes. Moreover, its solid brass construction ensures dependable strength, while its graceful contours create a welcoming first impression that lasts for years.

Available Functions:
  • Single Cylinder Keyed: Features an exterior keyway and an interior thumb turn for effortless locking and unlocking. It works best for standard tubular doors and is often paired with a dummy set to maintain visual balance on double entry doors.
  • Double Cylinder Keyed: Includes keyways on both sides, requiring a key to operate from either direction. This option is especially ideal for glass insert doors, as it provides enhanced security.
  • Dummy: Functions as a decorative, non-latching set that enhances symmetry on double or French doors. It is surface-mounted and serves as a jamb with a strike plate for the active door’s latch.
  • Smart Lock Single Cylinder (EMP2): Pre-configured with the Wilshire Rosette, this version turns your entry set into a smart lock accessible through the Yale Access app. It retains a traditional appearance while offering modern convenience.

  • 5-1/2” center-to-center tubular door prep for smooth installation
  • Fits standard 1-3/4” thick doors; EMPowered™ 2 fits doors up to 2-1/4”
  • Standard 2-1/8” door prep with 2-3/8” latch backset (2-3/4” optional)
  • Latches include square corner strike and face plates; radius corners available if needed
  • Not compatible with 28° rotation latches
  • Handing required when using a lever inside or adding an interconnect device
  • Optional interconnect device available (except for Double Cylinder or Smart Lock models)
  • Compatible with Weiser® (WR5) and Schlage C keyways, with no added cost
  • Can easily be keyed to match existing Weiser® systems
  • Sold as a complete set, including latch and strike plate
