Accentra Shim Kits for Exit Device

Accentra Shim Kits provide a simple and reliable solution for installing exit devices on doors with interfering or overlapping molding. Each standard shim kit contains two sets of 1/8″ thick shims, allowing adjustments of 1/8″ (3mm) or 1/4″ (6mm) to ensure proper alignment and secure mounting. For shimming greater than 1/4″ (6mm), longer mounting screws (not included) are required. Kits are supplied in durable 693 (Black) finish. Windstorm (WS) kits include three sets of 1/8″ shims for additional flexibility.

Included in each shim kit:

• 2 (or 3 for WS kits) sets of 1/8″ thick shims
• Longer device mounting hardware (user-supplied if needed)
• Installation instructions

*Note: Special mortise or concealed vertical rod components may be required for openings needing more than two shim kits, or for mortise devices on doors thicker than 1-3/4″ (44mm).
