Accentra 8808FL Classroom Mortise Lock

The Accentra 8808FL Classroom Mortise Lock provides flexible access control for classrooms, offices, and utility room doors. As part of the ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA® 8800 Series, it delivers dependable performance in high-use educational and commercial environments.

First, this classroom function allows the latchbolt to retract by the knob or lever from either side during normal use. However, when the outside knob or lever is locked by key, access changes. In that case, the latchbolt can only be retracted by key from the outside, while the inside knob or lever always remains active for safe exit.

In addition, operating the inside knob or lever retracts the latchbolt without unlocking the outside knob or lever. As a result, the door stays secure from the outside while still allowing free egress. The deadlocking latchbolt also helps protect against forced entry.

Moreover, the 8808FL supports easy installation and long-term service. It features field-reversible handing and standard door preparation. Combined with heavy-duty trim and ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certification, this mortise lock offers strength, reliability, and peace of mind.
