Accentra 6170ED Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device

The Accentra 6170ED Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device provides reliable and secure egress for commercial doors. In addition, it fits wide stile and flush doors up to 10 feet high, supporting one- or two-point latching, which makes it suitable for many applications. Moreover, the device offers a Less Bottom Rod (LBR) option, which is ideal when bottom rod hardware is not needed.

Because it is designed for heavy-duty use, the device features an interlocking top strike and latch mounting plate, which enhances stability. When you choose the LBR option on fire-rated doors, a heat-activated door bolt (thermal pin) ensures compliance with fire codes. Although the device is handed, you can reverse it in the field, allowing for flexible installation. Furthermore, the exit device combines strength, durability, and ease of use. Overall, it delivers consistent performance for high-traffic commercial environments.
