Accentra 5800 door plates improve installation flexibility for the Accentra 5800 Series door closer. These door plates solve common mounting problems on narrow frames and limited top rails. As a result, installers achieve a secure fit and dependable closer performance.
5800RDP Narrow Frame Drop Plate (Regular Arm): Installers use this Accentra 5800 door plate for hinge-side mounting when the top rail measures less than 3-3/4″ (95mm). It creates a strong mounting surface on narrow frames. Therefore, the door closer maintains proper alignment. A minimum top rail of 2″ (51mm) is required.
5800PDP Narrow Top Rail Drop Plate (Parallel Arm): Installers select this Accentra 5800 door plate for parallel arm mounting when the top rail measures less than 5-1/2″ (140mm) from the door stop. In addition, it supports secure installation on restricted top rails. A minimum top rail of 2″ (51mm) is required.
