The Accentra 5325LN Privacy Lock Lever is engineered for lavatories, bedrooms, and other interior spaces where simple, convenient privacy is needed. Both levers operate the latchbolt under normal use, while the inside pushbutton locks the outside lever when privacy is desired. For added safety, the lock automatically releases when the inside lever is turned or the door is closed, preventing accidental lockouts. When necessary, the door can be unlocked from the outside using the turnbutton—no emergency key required. Its free-wheeling lever mechanism also helps reduce damage caused by forced rotation.
