The Accentra 2010 Extension Rods are designed to extend the top rod on Accentra surface vertical rod (SVR) exit devices, providing a reliable solution for door installations taller than the standard 7-foot height. These extension rods ensure proper rod engagement while maintaining the performance and life-safety requirements of the exit device.
Standard rods supplied with Accentra SVR exit devices are intended for 7′ (2.13 m) doors. For taller openings, the top rod may be field cut or extended using the appropriate 2010 series extension rod. Multiple extension lengths are available to accommodate a wide range of door heights, including 10-foot applications when used with the Accentra 2170(F90) model.
