The Pemko HSS2000xS88 Fire & Hot Smoke Seal is a commercial-grade combination intumescent and silicone gasket designed to provide superior protection against fire, hot smoke, and hot gases in rated door assemblies.
Engineered with an adhesive-backed expandable graphite intumescent strip and high-temperature silicone bulb, this seal expands when exposed to heat, helping maintain the integrity of the door assembly during a fire event. It effectively seals against smoke, fire, air, sound, and weather, making it ideal for commercial and institutional applications.
Tested and proven under positive pressure conditions, the HSS2000xS88 provides longer integrity of the door assembly compared to standard seals and is a cost-effective alternative to specially modified “tested assembly only” doors.
