Accentra 8818-2FL Classroom Security Intruder Mortise Lock

The Accentra 8818-2FL classroom security intruder mortise lock secures classrooms, offices, and other high-traffic areas that need controlled access. First, users turn the knob or lever to retract the latchbolt, unless a key locks the outside lever. At the same time, the deadbolt operates with a key on either side, giving extra security whenever needed.

Next, projecting the deadbolt automatically locks the outside lever to prevent unauthorized entry. Then, turning the key retracts the latchbolt and unlocks the outside lever, allowing controlled access. In addition, the anti-panic feature lets the inside lever retract both the latchbolt and deadbolt simultaneously while keeping the outside lever locked for fast and safe exit. As a result, the double-cylinder design with deadbolt and deadlocking latchbolt delivers reliable security and smooth operation for classrooms and institutional doors.
