The Accentra 8812-2FL intruder deadbolt mortise lock secures classrooms, offices, and other high-traffic areas that need controlled access. First, users retract the latchbolt by turning the knob or lever from either side, unless a key locks the outside lever. At the same time, the deadbolt operates with a key on either side, adding extra protection when needed.
Next, projecting the deadbolt automatically locks the outside lever to prevent unauthorized entry. Then, turning the key retracts the deadbolt and unlocks the outside lever, restoring controlled access. In addition, the anti-panic feature allows the inside lever to retract both the latchbolt and deadbolt simultaneously, while automatically unlocking the outside lever for safe, fast exit.
