Accentra 8867FL Dormitory / Exit Mortise Lock

The Accentra 8867FL dormitory / exit mortise lock provides secure access and safe egress for dormitories, classrooms, and other controlled areas. First, turning the knob or lever from either side retracts the latchbolt, unless the outside knob or lever is locked by the stopwork activator or automatically locked when the deadbolt is projected. Meanwhile, users can operate the deadbolt with a key outside and a thumbturn inside.

Additionally, when the outside knob or lever is locked, using the key outside retracts both the latchbolt and deadbolt for controlled access. At the same time, the anti-panic feature allows users to turn the inside knob or lever to retract both the latchbolt and deadbolt, while keeping the outside knob or lever locked for security. As a result, the 8867FL provides reliable security and safe emergency egress.

Moreover, the deadlocking latchbolt resists forced entry, and the heavy-duty mortise construction meets ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 standards, ensuring long-term performance in high-traffic areas.
