From the start, this bathroom mortise lock allows the latchbolt to retract from either side using the knob or lever, except when the outside knob or lever is locked by the thumbturn. As a result, the bathroom lock provides reliable privacy while maintaining simple interior use.

In addition, operating the inside knob or lever on this bathroom mortise lock retracts the latchbolt and automatically unlocks the outside knob or lever. Furthermore, the outside thumbturn can also unlock the outside knob or lever, which adds flexibility and ease of use. At the same time, the bathroom lock automatically unlocks when the door closes, ensuring consistent operation without extra steps.
