The Accentra YPL02 Privacy Cylindrical Indicator Lock provides reliable privacy and clear status indication for bathrooms, offices, and other spaces requiring visual occupancy feedback. Part of the ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA® YPL Series, this lock combines durability, ease of use, and quick installation with a bold red-and-green indicator that shows whether the door is locked or available.
This privacy lock allows either lever to operate the latchbolt unless the outside lever is locked by the pushbutton inside. The inside pushbutton changes the indicator display outside, while rotating the inside lever or closing the door unlocks the outside lever and updates the indicator. A coin turn on the outside lever provides emergency access, and the inside lever always remains active. When locked, the outside lever stays rigid for added security.
The YPL02 lock is non-handed and features ADA-compliant design, durable cylindrical construction, and ANSI curved-lip strike for strength. It is available in four finishes (605, 613E, 626, BSP) and supports quick, cost-effective upgrades with visual status indicators. This lock meets high-use durability standards and comes with a 3-year mechanical warranty.
