The Accentra 8802FL Privacy Mortise Lock provides reliable privacy for bedrooms, bathrooms, and similar spaces without keyed access. In normal use, the latchbolt retracts from either side, while the inside thumbturn operates the deadbolt, which automatically locks the outside knob or lever. Additionally, the lock supports safe exit with anti-panic operation, allowing the inside trim to retract both the latchbolt and deadbolt together.
For added safety, the deadbolt can be unlocked from the outside using the supplied E203 emergency key in case of emergencies. Moreover, the 8802FL is easy to install and built to last. It features field-reversible handing, heavy-duty trim, and ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certification, ensuring dependable performance in both residential-style and commercial spaces.
