Accentra 7116 Alarm Kit for 7000 Series Exit Alarm

The Accentra 7116 Alarm Kit adds audible security to compatible 7000 Series exit devices by actively alerting staff when someone uses an exit without authorization. As soon as the user arms the system with a key, the alarm stands ready to respond. Then, when the pushpad is pressed, the alarm sounds immediately to deter misuse while still allowing safe egress.

By default, the alarm operates in standard mode and automatically resets after five minutes. However, users can easily switch to continuous alarm mode, which keeps the alarm sounding until they manually reset it with the key. In addition, selectable features help reduce nuisance alarms and support controlled, authorized egress.

• Powered by one 9V battery (included)
• Optional hardwired power using 9VDC, 300mA power supply
• Alarm loudness rated at 90 dB at 10 feet

Arm / Disarm Operation:

• Uses one 1-1/8″ straight cam mortise cylinder
• Clockwise key turn arms the alarm
• Counterclockwise key turn disarms or silences the alarm

Designed for use with select Accentra 7000 Series exit devices, including:

• Rim Devices: 7100(F), 7200, 7200M(F)
• SquareBolt® Devices: 7150(F), 7250, 7250M(F)
• Surface Vertical Rod (SVR): 7110(F), 7170(F), 7210, 7210M(F)*
• Concealed Vertical Rod (CVR): 7120(F), 7160(F), 7220, 7220M(F)
• Mortise Devices: 7130(F)

*Note: For SVR devices (7110(F), 7170(F), 7210, 7210M(F)), the 7116 alarm kit is available factory-installed only. Field retrofit is not permitted and will void product warranties.

Sizing & Ordering Information:

• Available for 36″ and 48″ devices only
• Not compatible with devices under 36″ bar length
• Standard 36″ fits doors 35″–36″ (cannot be cut below 35″)
• Option -48 fits doors 41″–48″ (cannot be cut below 41″)
• To order: Specify 7116 for the alarm kit
• When ordered with a device, add suffix “-A” (example: 7150-A)

Hardwired Option:

• Remote power available using wire harnesses
• WH-11 for 36″ devices
• WH-12 for 48″ devices
